Spiritual Leader
Chris Kraus is currently the Spiritual Leader of Unity in Frederick. Since receiving her Licensed Unity Teacher certification in 2018, Chris has been a guest speaker at Unity in Frederick, as well as multiple Unity and Unitarian Universalist congregations in the Maryland, DC and Virginia area. She has taught and co-taught both required SEE classes and Unity-related classes since 2017. Her practicum focus on pastoral care led her to serve UIF as Prayer Chaplain Coordinator for the past four years. She is a former Montgomery County Public School teacher, with over 46 years of experience teaching adolescents English, theater and television. Chris has a M. Ed in Education from Loyola University in Baltimore, MD.
