It is with deep regret that I write to inform you the members of Unity in Frederick who attended the Special Membership Meeting on Sunday, March 23, 2023, voted to dissolve the ministry. As is written in Ecclesiastes 3, “For everything there is a season…a time to be born, and a time to die…”, and it is now the time that Unity in Frederick has reached its end. Over the next calendar month, all email, phone and social media accounts for Unity in Frederick will cease to exist. I will be available for [what period of time]. If you would like to speak with me to help you process this news, please email me at this new address: firstname.lastname@example.org. I will also be available to you during that time period for prayer, for spiritual direction.
If you want to attend and possibly join another Unity congregation that meets in person and livestreams, I invite you to consider Unity of Hagerstown or Unity of Gaithersburg. Both are half an hour’s drive from Frederick. If you prefer to attend a virtual Zoom service, I invite you to consider Unity of Fredericksburg, Virginia. Further information can be found at each of the respective church’s websites.
Please consider that this ending is part of the worldwide paradigm shift of rapid change, and, as such, can create opportunities for new beginnings, new ways of connecting with others in a spiritual community, and individual spiritual growth.
It has been my privilege to serve as your Spiritual Leader for the past two years. Blessings to you in your spiritual journey.
Faith, Peace, Love, and Joy,
Unity in Frederick
